Inside the SFBJ's 2023 CFO Awards (Photos)

The South Florida Business Journal's CFO Awards 2023 were held at the Signature Grand Hotel in Davie on Thursday. More than 200 people attended to honor outstanding financial executives.

The event featured 17 of the region's most prominent chief financial officers. It began with a networking session that included hors-d'oeuvres, as well as an open bar.

Tamika Bickham was the emcee for the ceremony. She is founder of TB Media Group. In her welcome video Melanie Dickinson welcomed the audience and thanked the program sponsors, followed by Mel Melendez, Editor-in Chief who explained the process of selecting the CFO honorees.

• CFOs of companies with revenues less than $25 Million

• CFOs of companies with revenues between $25 million to $250 million

• CFOs of companies with revenues exceeding $250 million

• CFOs of public companies

• CFOs in nonprofits

There were two additional categories: a CFO was awarded the Turnaround Achievement of the year and a second CFO received the Financial Deal of the year.
