Australian teenage skater Arisa Trew won gold in women’s park skateboarding at the Paris Olympics, making history as the event’s first Australian medalist and the youngest medalist of the Paris Games. Trew claimed victory with a remarkable performance in the final round, impressively executing two consecutive 540s to earn a score of 93.18. Cocona Hiraki of Japan secured the silver medal, while British skater Sky Brown took home the bronze, replicating their podium finishes at the Tokyo Olympics. Trew’s outstanding skills were previously demonstrated by her landing a 720 and a 900, setting records in the sport.
