Chechen Leader Claims Tesla Cybertruck Disabled in Ukraine War Zone #

A prominent Chechen leader has accused a major tech company CEO of remotely disabling a Cybertruck that was allegedly sent to the frontline of the conflict in Ukraine. The leader claimed that the vehicle, which had been equipped with a machine gun and was reportedly performing well in combat, had been shut down.

The Chechen figure, known for his loyalty to the Russian President and his active involvement in Russia’s ongoing military operations in Ukraine, shared footage of himself driving a Cybertruck in August. He claimed it was a gift from the tech CEO, soon to be sent to the front.

However, the CEO firmly denied sending the vehicle, responding with a strongly-worded message on social media.

The Chechen leader repeated his claim earlier this week, lamenting that the high-tech vehicle had to be towed from the battlefield. He criticized the alleged remote shutdown as unfair.

He later announced that two more Cybertrucks had been sent to the conflict zone, posting a video of two vehicles in a forested area, each armed with mounted machine guns. The video shows individuals in military uniforms firing from the roofs of the vehicles.

The leader insisted that these new vehicles were operating normally without any failures, suggesting this served as excellent advertising for the Cybertruck.

The Cybertruck, an all-electric vehicle, was unveiled in 2019 in Los Angeles. Retail prices for the vehicle start from around $90,000 in the United States.

The Chechen leader, who was installed by the Russian President, has faced criticism for decades over alleged human rights violations. He has been sanctioned by several countries and international bodies, citing credible information of his involvement in gross human rights violations, including torture and extrajudicial killings.
