A decline in Salesforce shares led to a drop in stock indexes on Thursday, with the S&P 500 falling 0.6%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropping 0.9% (~330 points), and the Nasdaq Composite losing 1.1%. Excluding the tech sector, there was a broad rally across nine of the 11 sectors.
