The Department of Education is launching a new investigation into Harvard University’s handling of alleged discrimination on its campus. This investigation follows a federal civil rights complaint filed on behalf of Muslim and Palestinian students who claim that the school did not protect them from harassment and intimidation. The complaint detailed instances of students being accosted and called terrorists because of their appearance. This investigation adds to the ongoing scrutiny on Harvard over incidents of antisemitism and Islamophobia. Harvard has not yet responded to the investigation.
